Born and raised in the Kansas City, Missouri area, Mr. Frick attended Kearney High School where he was active in many clubs and organizations; specifically instrumental music. Upon graduating high school, Mr. Frick attended Missouri State University where he graduated cum laude, earning his Bachelor in Music Education. Upon graduating, Mr. Frick taught in the Springfield, Missouri area for three years as an Instrumental Music Director, teaching Beginning Band, Junior High Band, High School Band, and served as the pianist for the Choir and Musical Theater Department.

Mr. Frick then moved back to the Kansas City area where he graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in May of 2015. In doing so, Mr. Frick enjoyed the distinction of graduating in the top 5% of his class, earning summa cum laude honors. During his tenure in law school, Mr. Frick served as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Department, sat as a Justice on the Honor Court, and competed nationally on the Trial Advocacy Team. Mr. Frick was also active in the Children and Family Services Clinic, serving families in the Kansas City area in various family law matters.

Mr. Frick joined The Law Office of Young, Jakobe & Kuhl, LLC as a law clerk in the Fall of 2014 and happily joined as an associate in the Fall of 2015. Like all members of the firm, Mr. Frick has dedicated his practice to Family Law and represents clients in dissolutions of marriage (divorce), modification of custody and child support actions, establishment of child support actions, adoption matters, paternity actions, and guardianship proceedings.
